“It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.”

~ Albert Einstein

Quality content is by no means anything new to the business world, but the methods in which it is being shared or viewed could be the breaking point for all businesses large and small. With mobile devices and wearable technology becoming the new means of communication, it’s not surprising that as consumers we take no more than one-twentieth of a second to decide if we want to continue to read all the data.

When thinking about the brand or service that you are trying to sell or promote, it would be helpful to know how consumers are viewing your company. Research in 2015 showed mobile sites have taken over original desktop views in over 10 different countries including the U.S.  Mobile friendly websites will be the norm and not the exception for any businesses or organizations wanting to reach customers and grow their revenues and bottom.

Mobile sites have not only become a valuable marketing tool but, a necessity for the future of a business. We have all become more dependent on mobile and wearable technology. With an interface generated for easy viewing of products and services, it’s no wonder the newest generations search all of their data on these devices.

Stay ahead with digital trends in your business or organization to optimize customer satisfaction and increase annual revenues.

How to Ensure Better Meetings

Management-RH-Conseil-Entretien-Evaluation-

Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning. – Bill Gates

Business meetings, if conducted correctly, can be extremely effective in connecting businesses and organizations to their members or future prospects. One of the most crucial components to increasing a meetings investment value is knowing how your attendees enjoyed or did not enjoy the educational presentation of the meeting.

Meeting evaluations are electronic, paper, or open discussions where attendees share their opinion of the effectiveness of the meeting; it’s a great way for companies to say “what can we do better next time” and set future goals to fix any problems or concerns.

Since technology is such a big part of the business world, it’s not surprising that companies are switching to electronic evaluations instead of paper. Mobile apps are becoming the new way for organizations and businesses to collect instant feedback from sessions.

With businesses implementing new evaluations tools it’s important to remember to keep the feedback open by allowing additional comments from the attendees with notes and other attendee’s suggestions that add value to a standard computerized response rating scale. When researching the most effective mobile app for post-event evaluations always search for apps that include open-ended questions for attendees to leave their opinions and ideas to improve your ratings and allow your attendees to help continue to raise the satisfaction rate into your next business meeting.

We have all sat through business meetings that are far too long and achieved far too little. Proper attendee evaluations can either make or break the future of a business.

Attack with Courage

Attack with Courage

As a leader in the business world, courage has to with the eagerness and intelligence to face what needs to be fixed or changed and do what needs to be done. Courage depends upon you being confident in your own personal values and convey them in every aspect of your company or organization. It requires you to be direct in communication, clear and confident in your persuasion, and prepared to do what needs to be done regardless of its acceptance.

Courage is one way a leader can work to influence others in their line of work. It’s been shown that a leader must be able to focus on no more than four core places of excellence to further their company. A few examples include: Making the office the best place to work for employees, excellent customer service involvement, operational excellence in all aspects of the company and financial strength.

The most significant thing a leader must remember when trying to lead with courage is listening to others influencing you. The voices of employees and associates relays information back to you about how they like working with or for you, this kind of information can influence you to see your company from a different perspective and share new, innovative ideas to make a more productive place to work.

Courage is about the directness you put forth in your company aligning with your beliefs and values. Are you ready to attack with courage?

Reaching a New Generation of Buyers

Reaching a New Generation of Buyers - New Image

With every new generation comes new technologies and before long, new technologies become the new normal. If companies and organizations want to stay ahead of their competition, it’s important to adapt to the newest generation of buyers and expand their marketing tactics to become easy, simple, and fast.

The IPhone generation now in the work place, expect instant gratification and have it in the palm of their hands. They are spending less time at conferences and events and more time searching the internet. Content via email and over social media channels along with active website searches and larger quantities of information have become the new custom, replacing face to face contact.

What are we looking for on the internet? Most of us open Google and use the search box to look for information or for answers to questions like How To’s. It’s crucial to remember that if you’re not on the first page of a Google search, the research says you are wasting your revenue, good luck growing or creating new customers in your field of business. That research has shown the 99% of people don’t go past the first page on a Google search.

Another tip to reaching this new generation of buyers is to optimize your website and content to work with Google. Videos, articles, documents and photos must be able to download or view on a common platform for any customer to access at any time.

The new generations of buyers make it a practice to be up-to-date on the newest trends in the media and internet. As a company looking to grow, your focus should be on reaching this new generation of buyers now to benefit the future of your company.
